Value Industrial sells container offices, shelters and equipment to Canadian businesses from three locations. We built a Medusa store that knows what's in stock where and how a 2,670 lb container gets delivered.

Value Industrial supplies Canadian businesses with industrial equipment: container offices, storage shelters, sheds, skid-steer attachments, snow removal and warehouse storage. It sells from three locations in Ontario and Quebec, to customers ranging from construction firms to universities and public agencies.
/ The challenge
This isn't a parcel business. A 12 ft container office weighs more than a tonne, ships by tilt-tray truck or LTL freight and can cost over a thousand dollars to deliver. Prices run into the tens of thousands.
Each of the three locations has its own stock, pickup options and provincial tax, so one catalog had to behave differently depending on which store the customer chooses.

Each location maps to its own Medusa sales channel and region, so customers see stock, pickup and prices for the store they choose.
Freight-aware fulfilment
Custom fulfilment providers for tilt-tray and LTL delivery, with postal-code shipping estimates in the cart.
Provincial tax by region
Regions for each location with Ontario and Quebec sales tax built in.
Financing for big tickets
Card payments through Stripe, with Affirm financing for larger orders.
Product pages built for buyers
Weight, dimensions, warranty, delivery estimates, reviews and Q&A on every product.
Viewings and consultations
Customers can book a live viewing or a consultation before committing to a large order.
